Journal writing workshop

Scientific research into personal writing has shown that journaling can have long-lasting positive effects both on mental and on physical health. This workshop will give an introduction into a variety of journaling techniques that have been developed and approved by neuroscientists and psychologists. Participants will get the chance to try out several of these techniques and leave the event with a toolkit that will help them grow to their fullest potential. It will be held in English, but participants may choose to write in any language they feel comfortable using. To ensure everyone’s privacy, nobody will be obliged to share their writing, neither with the instructor nor with the group.

Marie-Christine Alberts is a research associate at the University of Freiburg (Germany), pursuing a PhD on travel diaries.

Please bring a pen and paper to the event.

The event will be held in English, but you can write in any language you prefer.
