How can ideas change society? What does the past have to teach us about urgent issues of our time? Australian philosopher and author Roman Krznaric is a senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Eudaimonia and Human Flourishing at Linacre College, University of Oxford. He has written several bestselling books, translated into more than 20 languages. Krznaric’s work includes titles such as History for Tomorrow, The Good Ancestor, Carpe Diem Regained and How to find Fulfilling Work. He is also the founder of the world’s first Empathy Museum, as well as one of the brains behind the global organization and famous YouTube channel The School of Life.

History of Tomorrow has recently been translated into Norwegian at Res Publica. In this book, Krznaric explores what the last 1000 years of global history can teach us about urgent issues such as the climate crisis and the rise of artificial intelligence. Meet Krznaric in conversation with assistant professor at the University of Bergen Christopher Senf. Senf is a political philosopher researching protest movements.

The conversation will be in English.
