TangoFest: Friday - Day Pass

Expect exciting music, films and talks, with a focus on French-Argentine singer-songwriter and composer Carlos Gardel

We begin the festival with a special focus on Carlos Gardel, including a lecture-concert on the lyrics of his songs, a talk on his significance in Argentine society, and a screening of his beloved film El día que me quieras.

17:00. The exhibition spaces will be open to visitors. Alongside visual materials on Gardel and tango, this year’s exhibition also highlights Women Tango Pioneers, curated by Marina Cañardo, former director of the Museo Casa Carlos Gardel in Buenos Aires.

Festival pass and day passes for Tangofest grants access to all events during the festival (The Columbi Egg concert on the monday is not included, but can be purchased at a discounted price with a festival pass or day pass).
